Installing the client components

To install Meridian on a client computer with the Windows Installer Package, see Controlling Windows Installer packages.

To install Meridian on a client computer with the 32-bit executable setup program:

  1. Begin the installation as described in Starting Meridian installation.
  2. On the Select Components page, select one of the following options depending on the required client components:
  1. Specify the destination for the selected program files. Usually the default folder is adequate. If you want to place most of Meridian’s files on a non-system partition, click Browse and type the desired path or select an existing folder. Click Next to continue. The Choose Computer page appears.
  2. Type the name of the Meridian application server or click Browse and select the computer. Click Next to continue.
  3. Complete installation as described in Finishing up installation.
